My name is Lucas Mayer, and my job is to help you stop sounding like a doofus in your personal ads. I really don’t mean that as an insult…I really don’t. But I spent years writing ads like every other dude out there. I wondered why I only got a handful of responses since I was such a catch (my female friends AND my mom told me so!!).

It took me a long time to figure two things out. First, how not to be a clingy, spineless dork. Second, how to translate some new confidence into written ads.

For the first, I studied everything I could get my hands on with respect to the pickup artist community, as well as some great self-help books (I’ll recommend some along the way). With that out of the way, I figured I was set. But I was still writing ads that made me sound–this is the plain, unvarnished truth–like a loser.

I turned my attention back to my college marketing textbooks, blogs on writing for the Web, and pretty much any good resource I could find on communication. What I came up with is a method for writing ads that guarantees:

  1. You WILL sound confident (even if you don’t feel it);
  2. You WILL sound different than the thousands of other ads;
  3. You WILL stand out as a unique, interesting, and desirable guy;
  4. You WILL easily do all of the above.

Now, I don’t pretend that my book is going to teach you confidence. It’s no more about confidence than it is about calculus. BUT, getting some responses and going out on a whackload of dates is totally going to help with that.

I’ve remained a fairly single guy. I can commit for a while, but generally find myself wanting to move on before it gets too serious.  This has nothing to do with the women I’m attracting though. Each and every one has helped me to learn something about myself, and added something to my life (even the crazy ones). I’ve been called a commitment-phobe more times than I can count–and I can count pretty high. It’s probably true, and maybe if I ever figure out how to fix THAT, I’ll write a book with a kick-ass system on that too.

In the meantime, know that my system can get you tons of dates, whether you prefer to spend years playing the field, or are looking to find that one exact woman with whom you want to share your life.
